Ireland - May08

I'm on a blog roll now... hahahaha ahhhhhhhh
So here are some Ireland pics... Was a great weekend and in case you're wondering who my travel partners are...i'll tell you. Kim (with the dark hair) is a lovely girl from Sydney but has moved to Dublin recently (again) and she's friends with Kelly, who's the other girl in the pics. Kel is a good ol Goulburn girl and is a treat. Kelly is a friend of Nicole who used to work for us and is Rachels sister.. All caught up? Good, on we go. We found loads of real nice people and lots to see in just the few days we were there. Spent most of the time in Galway, such a lovely little city that's easy to get around and has a nice vibe to it. The pics of the Holy Communion are in a town about an hour north of Galway called Cliffden. It was quite a strange site really, we drove in and were held up by the procession from the church. It ran through the streets of the city (we followed it of course) and in the shop windows that it passed people had left pictures and statues of either Jesus or Mary or both with flowers and candles surrounding them. Tres bizarre. The weirdness didn't stop there either, we got out of the car and walked up to where they all had congregated outside a hotel which had set up an alter for the occasion at it's entrance. Everyone stood around and prayed and kneeled at intervals. Even really old folk were kneeling down in the asphalt - felt quite sorry for them actually but they were bang up for it. All in all it was a very special trip around the place and i'm really looking forward to going back sometime for some more Guinness and Irish carry-on!
Just for that....
I'm going to post another photo. And if you look carefully those photo's are all different!! Thought with so many pics you could almost feel like you were there. Not feeling the love Drew ;)
Reno's look good mate, it's hard to guage cause I haven't been to yr new place yet. Trying not to get too excited before I trek over later in the year. Well done tho, hope the work gets done quickly and with the least amount of fuss. More shots of the family (Billy) would be good. I'll put some Ireland photos up soon...
Ciao for now

You don't need to post each photo 3 times. I think we got the jist of things with the 1st one.
Also some comments about the renos would ha ve not gone astray.
Mike i think u must have been listening 2 that Spanish guy and been using some that cosmetic stuff on ur face. John just needs to shed a few kilos and he will be fine. Maybe u could borrow some of Rachies gear to see if does any good before u splurg on some of that Clarins stuff. On second thought a good mudpack wouldbe good. Send us a few pics of that one
One more reno photo cause i can

Braintree Night out pt2
Few more - So you know who's in the pics...the Spanish looking gent is Alberto, been with us since August last year. Funny chap who doesn't mind saying what is on his mind, thinks John should change moisteriser as he looks a little older than his years. He also wears 'guyliner' when he's in the shop... Sarah is from New Zealand and a quality person. She takes the mandatory comments about chully buns and jandals quite well. Rachel is next but I think most of you have met her and then there's us two.
